While living and working in Asia for close to two decades, we discovered many incredibly talented, yet underrepresented artists – mainly in Indonesia. While first buying a few pieces for ourselves, we saw the great interest from many people and realized the massive demand for beautiful, yet affordable art.

That is how we started asiatrendgallery in 2009 in Singapore.

All the artists in our gallery work and live in Asia, mainly in Indonesia. We got to know them over the last more than 15 years while we were living there and during our many travels in this part of the world. We find, that all of them are extremely talented and definitely, all of them are very nice people.

Some of them have a formal art education, while some of them are self-taught or had a mentor supporting them at an early stage of their career.

What is unique, is that we know all our artists and their families personally and we have been at their studio, which is typically at their home, many times.

We consider all of them our friends.
