Dexgus (this is his nickname) is born on Bali, where he lives and works with his family in a typical Balinese family compound.

He is in his fourties and is a proud father of a son and a daughter.

Graduating from the Art College in Denpasar, he is experimenting with different styles and techniques. His works are of great intensity and colorful.

He often applies the paint in many layers so that his pictures appear like reliefs and thus develop a great effect of depth.

“I see a canvas as a space where I can dance, as free as I want. I jump into it and celebrate freedom and let the spirit come into my soul. I feel the energy flow to my hand, dancing like a Taiichi master. Searching the purity, love, and happiness. I am not thinking while I am painting.”
